What is team coaching? Team coaching is collaborating successfully and coming to self-development. Some teams or boards develop into a close partnership that achieves top performances. Other groups fall apart arguing before the finish line (the team result) is even in sight. In those cases, team coaching is a good intervention.
To improve the efficiency and collaboration of a team, we look at various factors during team coaching, such as:
- The phase and group dynamics of the team or management as an entity.
- The management and leadership qualities of each individual in the team and of the team as a whole. Where do we complement each other? What do we appreciate in each other? What do we miss?
- The efficiency of a team in terms of mission, goals, tasks/roles, working procedures/agreements, and mutual relationships.
